The spaceEvery aspect of this cabin offers the opportunity to gather with family and/or friends and to enjoy basking in nature while you sit back, relax, and unwind.
As soon as you walk inside the cabin, you will be greeted with an amazing open floor plan with a wood burning stove and a full wall of windows looking out over the wrap around deck facing Mt. Stuart. On a clear, crisp morning, the view is breath taking, and NEVER gets old. Sit on the deck and enjoy your morning coffee or tea and listen to the wild turkeys’ gobble in the distance (or right there! There is a game trail that leads right through the property, and we often see deer and wild turkeys meandering through the property). There is also a propane BBQ on the deck that you may use during your stay. You may still use it when there is a burn ban in effect.
Head back inside and you will be welcomed into the open dining area and newly remodeled kitchen. If you're looking to cook a great meal for the family or your friends, this fully stocked kitchen will provide everything you need to do so, including all major appliances such as a cooktop, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. There is also a coffee maker and electric kettle for hot water and tea.
If you continue through the kitchen, you will come to the first bedroom, which includes two single beds and a flat screen TV. There is also a dresser so that you can unpack your personal items. Just outside of the bedroom is a full bath with a large vanity, shower, and tub, stocked with all the essentials for getting nice and squeaky clean.
Upstairs, the loft has a cozy reading nook and a desk in case you need to respond to a few emails. There is also a super comfy king-sized bed for getting those all-important zzz’s.
Head down to the ground floor level and you will be greeted by comfy couches and another flat screen TV. We have provided over 30 DVD’s, but also feel free to bring your own! There is a bookcase filled with games for the whole group, along with some puzzles and a few books. There is a game table, dart board, and foosball table as well for a friendly competition. The washer and dryer are available for your use during your stay as well.
Down the hall is another bedroom with a double and single bed, and another full-size bathroom with tub and shower.
Head outside through the downstairs exterior door and you will find a relaxing hot tub where you can look up at the stars or see the mountain view. You can continue to walk down the hill outside to the outdoor fire pit where everyone can sit around the fire, and roast marshmallows for some yummy s'mores (please adhere to all local burn bans)!
PLEASE NOTE: This cabin is in the mountains. We are at about 2,800 feet in elevation. The roads leading to the cabin are well maintained, although they are gravel for about the last mile of the drive. When there is no snow on the ground, 4WD or AWD is not required, although recommended. Also, we regularly get snow in the mountains during the winter, so if there is snow on the ground, a 4WD or AWD vehicle will be required. Additionally, if the snow gets to more than 18" of accumulation, then the roads in our community are only maintained for track vehicles, and you will not be allowed to drive to the cabin, even with 4WD or AWD. This doesn't happen every year, but when it does, it is TYPICALLY (not always) in February or March. Your reservation could potentially be cancelled last minute if the snow is greater than 18".
Guest accessYou have access to the entire cabin as well as the acre of property! Enjoy watching the wildlife meander through the property!

Neighborhood overviewThere are many opportunities for recreation in this area. It is well known for fishing, hiking, hunting, skiing, snowboarding, dirt biking, ATV's, UTV's, you name it, you can probably do it!
There are unbelievable hikes here in the Cascade Mountains. The Enchantments are world-renowned and offer amazing views and hours of fun. Both downtown Cle Elum and Roslyn are a short (20-30 minute) drive and both offer really great food and drink options. There are also hundreds of miles of Department of Natural Resources lands for dirt biking, quads, UTV's, etc... Many of the community members own such vehicles, so you may hear some gas powered vehicles during your stay.
Getting aroundWalking around the neighborhood can offer really great views of the mountain range surrounding Mt. Stuart. The roads are for vehicles as well, so please stay safe. A vehicle will be needed in order to access downtown Cle Elum and Roslyn, and 4-wheel drive is recommended at all times, but required during the winter months.
